Harmony says funny stuff all the time. Sometimes I have to rack my brain to figure out what she is talking about though. Like the other day when we were sitting at a traffic light. She said, "Look there's a picture of toothpaste on that building." David and I didn't know what to think. We were silent until I started to look around and noticed the Home Federal Bank sign.
Then I realized what she meant. Right under the letters, as you can see, it looks just like the toothpaste we use (Aquafresh).
Then the other day out of the blue she said, "Mommy, did I ride the potty train when I was little?" I had to do some thinking before responding. I had a Focus on the Family cd that had given tips on potty training. When she heard it, the wheels in her mind took it literally.Hope this one doesn't make anyone blush.. but I can't resist telling this one! I was nursing the twins and Harmony decided to "nurse" her baby. She lifted her little shirt and had her baby doll to her chest. I said, "oh, you have milk in yours?" She said, "No, I have hot cocoa in mine."
And one more from last night... She was finger painting and David said, "Your hands are really messy." Harmony said (without a smile and with an attitude) "I'm painting. What do you think?"
I know some things are a lot more funny when you're there, but these sure gave us a laugh. The way kids think is just hilarious sometimes.
