I'm not posting these pictures to "brag" or anything. They're mainly for our parents to see pictures since we told them about our recent purchase. We had a 2003 Chevy Venture Van that had a lot of problems. We spent around $1,000 in repairs this past winter... and then there were several other repairs that needed to be done, but we decided to live with them instead of putting out more money. Anyway, we have been wanting something more reliable, but wanted to wait until David had a job, and for our tax return to come. We wanted a Honda because they are THE BEST! They are known for their longevity. We know of some Honda cars that are still being driven beyond 200,000 miles (David's 91 civic that he no longer has is still going last we heard). Anyway, not only do Honda's last, they do not
depreciate as much as other brands do. Yes, they cost more than most brands, but they are worth it because they are so GOOD and they hold their value. We thought about getting a Honda Odyssey (their van), but didn't really want to have another van. We thought about getting an accord or CRV, but when we put the carseats in, it was just too crammed. Sooo... we tried the Pilot and fell in love! It actually has as much seating as a van. It has a 3rd row of seats that can fold flat for more cargo space. So it seats 8 people in all. We got a really really good deal on a 2006 Pilot. We told them how much per month we could pay and they bent over backwards to make it work. They gave us more than the worth of our Chevy van and came down on the price of the Pilot. I'm so happy with it! I looooove Hondas!
