Blog
I want to give a brief explanation of why I set our blog to private for a short time. I can not go into much detail though! I have come to the realization that the internet can be a dangerous place. By setting my blog to public, I am putting my self and my family infront of the world so to speak. I used to think that strangers or slight aquaintances would have no interest in my blog, but I was wrong! Something happened personally recently that made me aware of this. I'll leave it at that. Having said that, this blog is going to be different from now on. Another reason for this is because the reason I started this blog was because we were SO far away from our parents and we wanted them to be able to see recent pictures of our kids. Now that we will be close to family, I do not see the need to post pictures any more. I realize that we have many friends who have enjoyed looking at our blog to see pictures of the kids, but if you are really dying to see pictures of them, you could be my facebook friend. As far as I can see, facebook is secure in the sense that the only people who can see information or pictures are my friends (I deleted the network I belonged to, and when I posted my pictures I made sure to check the option for my friends only to see them). I only accept friend requests from people I have had some connection with at some point in my life. Anyway... my blog will now focus on my writing. I have always enjoyed writing, and I believe I have buried this gift for too long. I used to stay up through the night as a teenager writing poetry, songs, stories, and journaling. I loved it. Unfortunately, over the years it has been stifled. The stifling was for a wide range of reasons, but I believe God is speaking to me about using gifts that He has given me. I will not say that I am a great writer, but I have had people tell me that what I've written has touched them in some way. I desire to be an instrument that God can use. Anyway, I will not promise life-changing compositions, but my writing comes from my heart. What am I going to write??? You'll just have to check in to find out!! Maybe some devotional-type stuff, maybe my views/opinions on topics, maybe some poetry. Who knows?!

Welcome back Daisy's Rain. You are my precious daisy...more beautiful than the sweet flower. Your words are articulate and profound. Continue to listen to our Father... He directs with perfection. I love you. Mom
