Back In SD!

We started back to South Dakota on Tuesday. We usually drive straight through, but we decided to spend the night half-way this time. I will probably never do that again because it just made the trip seem a lot longer! We arrived safe and sound a couple hours ago. We did not receive a very warm welcome as we stepped out of the van into below zero tempuratures! That's harsh because we had been experiencing beautiful warm weather in PA before we left! We had another unpleasant surprise when we opened a letter from David's work telling us that his temporary lay-off has been extended! The annoying part is that David called last week to find out if it was going to be extended, and they told him that everything was still on track! The date on the letter was from yesterday, so I guess they changed their mind from last week. We should have had our mail forwarded to PA, and kept in touch with someone from his work.-Then we could've stayed longer! Oh well! We had a great time with our families, but I would have to say it feels good to be in my own home. Now we just need to pray that David will be called back to work SOON!
