Yesterday did not start very well. As we read our local newspaper, we got the news that Trail King (David's employer) was laying off 75 more people. We both got a bad feeling. David called Trail King and asked them about it. Sure enough, they told him he would receive a package in the mail that was sent on Monday. The package had his layoff papers inside. He is no longer "on call" to go back to work! He turned in his uniforms, and picked up some applications around town. Please pray that something works out!
While we were out picking up applications for David, we got a phone call from David's parents informing us that that there was a fire at their house. They were all out of the house at the time. The church is connected with the house, so there was damage there too. They pastor the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Millville, NJ. Please pray for them at this very difficult time!!
