Wow, we actually have an internet connection! As I've stated before, we get internet through a wifi-hotspot or someone's router.. not sure which.. and the signals have been horrible the last couple weeks. No connection means no blogging. I know you all (all 2 of our readers...our moms..) check our blog countless times each day anticipating the next exciting tidbit from our life.. and this is why we have signed the papers for someone to come install broadband for us. It won't be until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so hang on.
News, news, news... hmmm... Everything was pretty much the same routine, or lack of, this past week. The only difference was that Harmony caught a nasty cold last weekend and shared it with me. As if taking care of twins isn't exausting enough without being sick. It's been rough, but I'm extremely thankful that the babies haven't gotten sick, which is a miracle... I mean, try telling a 3 1/2 year old she can't be up in the babies' faces. I'd tell her to keep her distance from Addy, and she'd go over and start hugging Elijah.
Today we ventured out on a "trip". Sort of. We went an hour away to Sioux Falls to get one of Harmony's Christmas presents. On the way home it was getting dark and I could see that the van infront of us on the highway was watching a dvd. I was going to tailgate so I could watch it too, but our brakes have been giving us trouble, so I skipped out. Our little "trip" went ok, considering the fact that we never know who is going to be fussy and when (Harmony included... ok, ok, and myself.) When we got back to Mitchell (that's the town we live in), we decided that since it was already 7pm, we'd go out to eat for my birthday(which is tomorrow). What a joke. It went something like this: We got there... both babies fussy. Took Harmony to potty, ordered food, took fussy baby #1 to bathroom to feed, came back to table and got fussy baby #2 and fed him in the bathroom. Our food came and Addy decided to make sure her presence was known throughout the restaurant. David jiggles her, I jiggle her. She still screams... the whole time. Finally I just asked for some boxes so we could get out of there. On the way out I made a mental note to wait on the dining out until the kids are in their 20's and we can actually enjoy a restaurant.
I guess that's all for now. If we have a good signal tomorrow or Sunday, I'll post some pics. I gotta get some sleep.
